Aries Season Forecast

Well, I think we can all agree that Pisces season was an emotional rollercoaster. If you were hoping for a break, Aries season has other plans.

Here’s the thing—we knew the start of this year was going to be a clusterfuck. We’re dealing with back-to-back personal planet retrogrades, we’re anticipating major outer planet shifts for the first time in years, and now we’re in the middle of eclipse season. It’s a lot. If you’re feeling it, I promise the people around you are feeling it too, in one way or another.

Before I dive into the nitty-gritty details of the upcoming astrology, I want to remind you: you steer the ship. You may not control the weather, but you do control how you navigate it. Imagine you’re in the middle of the ocean and a wicked storm rolls in. Are you going to stand on deck and curse the waves? (Okay, maybe for a moment.) But then, you adjust the sails, call all hands on deck, and do what needs to be done. Lean on your people. Aries season may be intense, but it’s also a call to action. How you move through the storm is up to you.

This is what we’re dealing with this month. By the time the Sun enters Aries on March 20, we’ll have already been navigating Venus retrograde, Mercury retrograde, and eclipse season. Aries energy is already dominant, and the Sun’s arrival will only amplify it.

Typically, I love Aries season—it feels like the true start of the year. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac: bold, adventurous, and all about taking action. But it’s hard to charge ahead when two planets are in reverse and eclipses are stirring up uncertainty.

This Aries season looks different. You might feel an urgent need to make a decision—like, right now. But you don’t. Seriously, there’s no rush. This season is an excellent time to reflect and take note of what arises. Shortly after the Sun enters Aries, it will meet up with Venus retrograde and Mercury retrograde. Normally, we love a Sun-Venus or Sun-Mercury conjunction, even when retrograde, because it tends to bring insight or clarity. A brief moment of relief, where things that felt confusing suddenly make sense.

We also get a little ease when Venus retrogrades back into Pisces on March 27. Even though Venus is still retrograde, it loves being in Pisces, which helps soften the retrograde’s edges. Plus, with Neptune lingering at 29°, Venus retrograde will meet up with Neptune that same day. We love this pairing—it’s dreamy, romantic, and creatively inspiring. While still retrograde, this could ease some discomfort, even if it just means opting to check out of reality for a bit.

Then, on March 29, we get a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries at 8°. This is the final eclipse in the Aries-Libra cycle, closing out a chapter that’s been reshaping identity, relationships, and personal autonomy since April 2023. I often find that as a series of eclipses wraps up, we get a clearer picture of the story that’s been unfolding—or at the very least, some insight into the lessons we’ve learned. Of course, sometimes it’s just one final gut punch, but let’s hope for the former.

This eclipse carries less heat than the one on March 14, but eclipse season is unpredictable—you never really know what’s coming. It forms a sextile with Jupiter, adding a touch of optimism and expansion. There’s an element of risk-taking here—but not reckless abandon. What new version of yourself is emerging? This eclipse is a potent reset, but patience will be key as everything comes into focus.

On that same day, Mercury retrogrades back into Pisces, adding a layer of fog. Mercury isn’t exactly at its sharpest in Pisces, and adding a retrograde to the mix? Let’s just say, double-check everything, and then check again.

And then, on March 30, Neptune enters Aries. That’s right—Neptune is leaving Pisces, where it’s been since 2011. This is a major shift. Neptune only changes signs about every 14 years, and its move into Aries marks the start of an entirely new chapter. The dream world meets the warrior. That said, Neptune will briefly retrograde back into Pisces later this year (September-early 2025), so this is its first dip into Aries, not its full stay.

I’ll be honest—I’m mourning the loss of Neptune in Pisces, mostly because Neptune in Aries is going to be anything but chill. Historically, this transit has been a lot, but I’m not here for fear-based astrology. Will this bring action? Probably. Conflict? Maybe even war. But it will also push boundaries, shake up old systems, and challenge the status quo. And honestly? We need that. So get ready.

On April 2, Venus meets the North Node again, nudging us toward alignment—whether we’re ready or not.

Venus backtracks through Pisces to meet Saturn. I kind of love this pairing, but I’ll admit I’m biased—I have this in my natal chart. Saturn gives Venus a reality check, which isn’t always fun but is usually necessary. This transit asks us to get serious about love, money, and boundaries. Where are you romanticizing something that needs structure? Where do you need to commit—or walk away?

On the same day, Mercury finally stations direct in Pisces, and honestly? Thank god. These retrogrades can kindly fuck off. I mentally prepared myself for Mars retrograde, but I really should have been bracing for Venus and Mercury. That said, we’re so close to relief—I can almost taste it. There’s still a bit of post-shadow cleanup to get through, but at least we’re moving forward.

April 12 is a big one. We’ve got the Sun conjunct Chiron, a Full Moon in Libra (which officially closes out eclipse season—goodbye and good riddance), and Venus stationing direct in Pisces. It’s a good day. Emotional? Yes. But good. The Sun meeting Chiron might poke at some wounds, but it’s also a healing moment. The Libra Full Moon asks us to reflect on relationship patterns, self-worth, and the balance (or imbalance) in our closest connections. Venus stationing direct means we can finally start integrating everything we’ve been learning since retrograde season kicked off.

On April 14, Saturn conjuncts the North Node at 26° Pisces. A reality check with karmic undertones. Saturn asks, Are you willing to do the work? The North Node points toward the future. If you feel like you’re being tested, you probably are. But Saturn doesn’t test without purpose—this is about stepping into alignment, even if it requires patience.

Mercury re-enters Aries on April 16. The fog lifts, communication speeds up, and decision-making becomes more direct. If things have felt murky or uncertain, this shift could bring the clarity you’ve been waiting for.

We close Aries season off with Mercury conjunct Neptune on April 17. Dream big, but don’t believe everything you hear. Some ideas will be brilliant; others will be total delusion. This is also a moment where something from the retrograde period could resurface—an idea, a conversation, an opportunity that needs a second look.

And finally, on April 18, Mars re-enters Leo, which means we are almost out of that post-shadow Mars retrograde period. I know you thought that was fully over, but that energy has still been lingering. Mars in Leo brings confidence, passion, and a little bit of drama, but it’s also a reminder that sometimes the best way to move forward is to own what you want—loudly.

The latter half of April looks extremely promising, but first, we have to get through the next four weeks. Which, I know, sounds like a long time—but it’s really not. There’s work to be done before we can fully move forward. Take it day by day. Nothing lasts forever, and it’s always nice to know that there’s something to look forward to on the other side.
